CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interviewing) is a computer-aided system for conducting telephone polls.
- CATI offers the following benefits:
- random sample (computer automatically selects telephone numbers from a telephone data base);
- guaranteed reaching of the required number of respondents (by means of automated system of calling and calls registration);
- constant control over interviewers during the polling (there is a supervisor exercising a constant control over interviewers work, who can interfere with any interview at any time.)
